Acelera Labs – Multiplier Event

Acelera Labs organized an exciting one-day event that promises to revolutionize visual communication in the realm of ecological tourism, sustainable goals, and inclusion within school education settings. This event took place in the city of Madrid.

Goals of the Event:

  1. Promote Adoption in Schools: Spread the word about three project outcomes in the school education sector.
  2. Share Good Practices: Make sure the good ideas work not just in schools but also in other areas, including Vocational Education and Training (VET).
  3. Ensure Project Sustainability: Keep the project strong and effective for the long haul.
  4. Raise Awareness: Shed light on educational methods that promote sustainable and inclusive practices in the dynamic field of tourism.
  5. Analyze School Programs in Spain: Dive deep into school programs, policies, and practices related to sustainability and inclusion in Spain, with the aim of contributing insights at the European level.
  6. Promote Visual Communication for Ethical Goals: Encourage the proper use of visual communication to achieve ethical objectives.

Visual Identity:

The project’s visual identity starts with its logo, a graphic representation of the project’s essence. The logo features symbols and colors aligned with the project’s content and mission:

  • Leaves: Representing the concept of nature and sustainability.
  • Suitcase: Symbolizing tourism.
  • Green Color Palette: A nod to the green transition and various shades of green.
  • Simple Font in Blue: Ensuring clarity and easy readability.

The website design follows suit, prioritizing easy and inclusive navigation, with a layout that mirrors the logo’s color palette and conveys the project’s soul through gamification.

Game Design:

For the game design, the emphasis was on creating a light, usable app that remains user-friendly even on less advanced devices. A minimalist and colorful design with a frontal 2D view of the hotel allows users to easily identify and interact with various elements. Recognizable icons convey clear concepts:

  • Coin: Represents money.
  • Thumbs Up: Indicates customer satisfaction.
  • Factory Emitting Smoke: Signifies environmental impact.
  • Bed with Euro Symbol: Represents room prices.

This innovative approach to visual communication is poised to transform how we engage with ecological tourism, sustainable goals, and inclusion in school education settings.
