In Kavala, Greece, was held a multiplier event hosted by ASEDDEDIPE, focusing on ‘Social Inclusion in Hotel Schools for Favoring the Employment of Students with Disabilities in the HoReCa Sector.’ With a targeted audience of 27 local and 18 virtual participants, the event brought together a diverse array of professionals, including vocational education teachers, special education vocational teachers, vocational centers, HoReCa students, disabled NGOs, professional associations, and employees in the HoReCa sector.
The goals of this multiplier event were:
- Promoting the adoption of three project outcomes within the school education sector.
- Facilitating the transferability of successful practices across various sectors, including Vocational Education and Training (VET).
- Ensuring the sustainability of the project for long-term impact.
- Raising awareness about educational strategies that foster sustainable and inclusive practices in the dynamic field of tourism.
- Conducting a detailed analysis of school programs, policies, and practices related to sustainability and inclusivity in Kavala, Greece, with the intent of contributing insights at the European level.
